SHAMAN, balls and cyber platforms: photos from graduations in Russian cities

Graduation in Gorky Park, SHAMAN (Yaroslav Dronov)

On the night of June 29, a graduation ceremony for Moscow schoolchildren took place in Gorky Park. Similar events took place in other Russian cities. Thus, in St. Petersburg, the Scarlet Sails traditionally took place, a holiday for teenagers was organized in Murmansk and Chita, and a grand ball was held in the State Kremlin Palace.

At the entrance to Gorky Park, teenagers were met by police officers who checked for a green bracelet on their hand and also monitored to ensure that the students did not bring alcohol to the event. Ninth-graders were not allowed to enter the event.

The rest were lucky enough to feel like real stars and walk the red carpet. The park had stands with interactive entertainment. So, the kids could try themselves in the role of IT specialists, doctors, teachers, lawyers and representatives of other professions. Also, various quizzes were organized for teenagers and a cyber platform was equipped. There were also physical activities – teenagers could play volleyball, basketball, football and ride a skateboard.

The concert for schoolchildren began with a mix from a DJ. The teenagers were entertained by the group “Vintage”, Philipp Kirkorov, Stas Mikhailov, SHAMAN and other artists. The graduates were also shown a video message from President Vladimir Putin , who congratulated the former schoolchildren on their main holiday. Later, a choir performed on stage and sang the Russian anthem.

“Scarlet Sails” in St. Petersburg ended with the passage of the brig “Russia” along the Neva and a fireworks display. The brig sailed along the Palace Embankment past the Trinity and Palace Bridges. Before that, a festive concert was held for the graduates, where such artists as IOWA, ST, Alsou, Lyusya Chebotina and Vanya Dmitrienko performed. The headliner of the evening was the singer Mot (Matvey Melnikov).

Meanwhile, graduates from different regions celebrated their graduation in the Kremlin. Teenagers from 140 cities of Russia came to the ball. Among the guests of the event were graduates from the DPR and LPR.
