Finding inspiration

Ever since I was a kid, I've been a pack-rat. I've collected images; mostly from magazines and newspapers - clippings that inspired and moved me.
Even then I was drawn to pictures of glamorous women, clothes and shoes I wanted, someday. Well, things haven't changed. I have a massive file of clippings of furniture, rooms, illustrations, clothing, food styling, works of art collected over the years. Looking at each one takes my breath away or at least makes me pause and reflect.
How can these bits of paper move me and center me, no different than art would, boosting my experience, or at least give me a taste what I want my experience to be?
Every time I run across something online that inspires, I drag it into one of my files. I guess old packrat habits die hard. Here are a few images I look to when my inspiration runs dry.
